I stood up and walked over the threshold of the sliding screen doors in a fury, not bothering to close them and sat down next to Matt. He had the TV on, I didn't realize we even HAD cable. The hockey game was on and soon I didn't even remember all of the stress in my life, it all sank away, replaced by a new horror that was the worry about winning or losing the game.
