To someone who has just come back from London, like me, a winter with sunlight is unexpected. Yet the winter of Jinan is serene. Of course, in tropical areas, sunlight is always scorching, and a pristine cloudless sky only scares a visitor not used to the climate. But in looking for a warm and sunny winter in northern China, one has to admit that Jinan is the best place to go.
