abstract:Immanuel Nobel (1801–1872), the younger, was a Swedish engineer, architect, inventor and industrialist. He was the inventor of the rotary lathe used in plywood manufacturing.
He and his three brothers worked with their father, engineer and inventor ImmanuelNobel, on inventions for the building industry in Sweden and Russia, as well as the Russian military.
