Running through the forest, in my wolf form, felt glorious. I made a mental note to do it more often. I glanced up at the leaf ridden sky as I heard the distant cry of an eagle. A cry that let me know we were okay. At least for now. It was a nice feeling to know I was surrounded by people that wouldn't hesitate to help me, when I needed it. I pushed myself further; making sure I was going as fast as possible and putting as much distance between us and them as was possible.
