“Who was it?” I asked him. I wasn't sure if I even really wanted to know. Michelle was my best friend. The only girl that I could truly be myself around. Every time I was feeling down, she would lift me up. Almost everyone I knew saw how close we were. Some thought that we should even be lovers, but my love for her wasn't in that way. And I knew she felt the same. I loved the girl, don't get me wrong. Yet I loved her more like a sister. And if anyone hurt her, I would gladly hurt them in return.
