High school parties, always slow and always lame - but this one was different. As soon as I began walking up the stairs and onto the porch I couldn't help but feel a little excited and nervous. I hadn't been to a party in a while, that was probably the reason. I wasn't even going to come to this if Gretchen hadn't begged me to meet her here. So here I was, at a stupid high school party, which I usually get un-invited too.
