abstract:Graham Clark (born in 1941, Lancashire, England) is an English opera tenor, mainly known for his character roles like Loge (Das Rheingold), Mime (Siegfried) and the Captain (Wozzeck). He has sung at The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, English National Opera, Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Opera North, Scottish Opera, and Welsh National Opera and Northern Ireland Opera in the UK, all the leading North American and European opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera New York (15 seasons) and the Bayreuth Festival (16 seasons) and he has recorded for all the major companies.
The pairing of Button and Hamilton at McLaren makes them the first team to have two British world champions since Graham Hill and Jim Clark were together at Lotus in 1968.
He has won two races so far this season to lead the title chase and now stands on the verge of adding his name to a list of British Indy 500 winners which includes the likes of Formula One greats Jim Clark and Graham Hill.
