Vikram Akula, SKS'sfounder, says that although17of the57women who killed themselves were SKS clients, none was in defaultso therewas “no scope for putting any pressure”.
The biggest, SKS, was launched by VikramAkula as a charity, with (according to his divorced and embittered wife) donations from the guests at their lavish wedding.
