Objective: To evaluate the clinical effects of internal drainage in Anderson-Hynes operation for the treatment of ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction.

Methods Retroperitoneoscopic dismembered pyeloplasty was performed on 17 patients of pediatric ureteropelvic junction(UPJ)obstruction, age ranging from 3—10 years.
