abstract:The Peasant Wedding is a 1567 painting by the Flemish Renaissance painter and printmaker Pieter Bruegel the Elder, one of his many depicting peasant life. It is currently housed in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna.
Mr Yanowsky also takes the lead in the third Stravinksy revival, the Russian folk ballet Les Noces (The Wedding), based on peasantwedding ceremonies - religious and secular.
