Mormon men as young as 12 years old can receive offices in the Church of JesusChrist of Latter-day Saints' priesthood authority but can't receive the title of priest until at least age 16.
The Church of JesusChrist of Latter-Day Saints, the largest Boy Scout church sponsor, said it wouldn't comment on the proposed policy change until it has assessed all of its implications.
