abstract:Rancho Sisquoc was a Mexican land grant in present day northeastern Santa Barbara County, California given in 1845 by Governor Pío Pico to María Antonia Dominguez de Caballero.Ogden Hoffman, 1862, Reports of Land Cases Determined in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, Numa Hubert, San Francisco The grant extended along the Sisquoc River, up stream of Rancho Tepusquet east of present day Lompoc.
