"There's a feeling there'll be limited progress toward stemming the crisis and that's what has been occupying the markets, " said MikeLenhoff, chief strategist at Brewin Dolphin.
"The markets now are very oversold yet again, so what we're seeing is a tactical rebound of the selling of the past short while, " said Brewin Dolphin equity strategist MikeLenhoff.
MikeLenhoff, a stock market strategist who is also from Brewin Dolphin, is optimistic about prospects for European equities for the rest of 2009 and has a year-end target of 5, 000 points for Britain's FTSE 100 all-share index, a level it has hovered around for the last month.
