abstract:James Michael McGinnis (12 July 1944 – ) is a physician, public servant, and long-time contributor to national and international health policy leadership, serving through four Administrations (Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton) as a key focal point for policy coordination and initiatives in disease prevention and health promotion. Currently, he is Senior Scholar at the Institute of Medicine, as well as Executive Director of its Roundtable on Value & Science-Driven Health Care.
But Jared Monti, Michael Murphy, Paul Smith, Jason Dunham, Michael Monsoor, Ross McGinnis, Robert James Miller, Sal Giunte, LeRoy Petry, and Dakota Meyer are not household names.
