abstract:Luke Daniel Harding (born 1968) is a British foreign correspondent working for The Guardian newspaper. He was the correspondent of The Guardian in Russia from 2007 until he was expelled from the country in 2011.
The Guardian's Moscow correspondent, LukeHarding, was deported from Russia on Saturday as he tried to re-enter the country after reporting in the UK on cables published on the WikiLeaks website, one of contained a description of Russia as a "virtual mafia state".
