abstract:The Kuba Kingdom (also Kuba, Bakuba or Bushongo) is a pre-colonial Central African state bordered by the Sankuru, Lulua, and Kasai rivers in the southeast of what is today the Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaire).
