i lived on a

网络释义

  我住在一个

The only good thing about school was that it wasn't home. I lived on a “farm” with both my parents. I guess I was lucky my parents hadn't split up like most people, but I didn't really consider myself lucky. My mom was extremely overprotective, but not the normal parent-overprotective. My dad acted like I didn't exist. Neither of my parents seemed like they actually liked me, they just didn't want anything bad to happen to me. When I got old enough to realize it, I was confused. I didn't understand why they cared that I didn't get hurt, but didn't care about me. As I've gotten older I've just learned to accept it. I spent most of my time in my room, which was in the attic.
