According to The New York Times, FoxSports1 plans to carry NASCAR races, MLB games, college basketball and football games, soccer matches, and UFC fights.
At the same time, it is launching a new national sports channel in the U.S. on Aug. 17 called FoxSports1, which it hopes to build into a competitor to The Walt Disney Co.
According to the LA Times, for FoxSports1 to live Speed TV will die this fall, while Fuel TV is expected to be replaced by FoxSports 2 while Fox Soccer is turned into an entertainment channel.
