And whilst obviously Guardian Books started off with an advantage because it could access the vast amount of data collected by the Guardian and Observer newspaper websites, Sidwell said that they have an opportunity now to gather even more information, for example, data on how people read books, what apps they use on what platform can help develop how they distribute books.
