- 冷藏室：冷藏室（也称为冷柜）是一种紧凑的非机械制冷器，是在安全供电的制冷设备发展之前，常见的二十世纪初的厨房电器。在电冰箱发明之前，冷藏室被公众称为“冰箱”。只有在现代电冰箱发明之后，早期的非电制冷器才被称为冷藏室。冰箱和冷藏室这两个术语在广告中早在1848年就可以互换使用。
