abstract:Central Asian arts are visual arts which are performed in Asia and the Turkic republics (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan), Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Tibet, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim and parts of China and Russia. This states that it was not influenced by Islamic arts.
The UNESCO Observatory (ALMOCA) focuses on the cross-cultural creative education and arts-specific learning of cultural diversity in CentralAsian countries.
