abstract:Bozhidar Dimitrov Stoyanov (, born 3 December 1945) is a Bulgarian historian working in the sphere of Medieval Bulgarian history, the Ottoman rule of Bulgaria and the Macedonian Question. He is the director of the National Historical Museum, formerly a Bulgarian Socialist Party member, and currently a politician affiliated with the GERB political party.
Overshadowing the optimism is a very public row between Bulgaria's diaspora minister, BozhidarDimitrov (a history professor), and the country's archaeologists.
