Biblical manuscript
- 圣经抄本：指在近代印刷术发明之前，著名宗教经典《圣经》各种版本的手抄本。因为都是用人手誊写的，因此叫手抄本或抄本（英语单词“manuscript”的意思是“manu(手) + script(写)”）。由于圣经各卷书记录的原稿年代久远，随时月过去会出现损毁现象，另为了让更多人阅读《圣经》的内容，故《圣经》抄本应需求而出现。现存大约有6千多卷抄本收藏在全世界的图书馆和博物馆中。
