Jane woke up sweating and breathing hard. Everything in the dream was fading fast. She got out her sketch pad to draw real quick, the face of the man with golden eyes. It was three in the morning as her hand quickly recreated the curves of the cheekbones, and the angles of his chin. As she sketched, her mind worked furiously to keep the image, to finish it before it was gone. Then his surroundings came to her and she began drawing lines and curves, they images just flowing, possessing her hand and fingers making them blaze across the page. When she was finished she sat back and stared at the man, who she only saw yesterday, though there were no scars, it was him. Everything else about her dream faded, but his face and the cathedral church behind him.
