Duncan's plea agreement, details of which will be announced today in U.S. federal court in Houston, was not unexpected and seems the inevitable outcome of Andersen trying to bill him as the rogue responsible for the decision to shred and delete thousands of documents.
The law under which Andersen was tried has largely been replaced by Sarbanes-Oxley, a controversial bill passed during the height of outrage over white-collar crime.
