abstract:Ahl al-Bayt () is an Arabic phrase literally meaning People of the House, or family of the House. The phrase "ahl al-bayt" (or "ahlul bayt") was used in Arabia before the advent of Islam to refer to one's clan, and would be adopted by the ruling family of a tribe.
Al-Taie was last seen four months after his abduction in a video posted on the Internet by a Shiite militant faction called the Ahl al-Bayt Brigades, which is linked to Asaib Ahl al-Haq.
