高温空气燃烧技术（hightemperatureaircombustion(HTAC))是20世纪90年代开发成功的一项燃料燃烧领域中的新技术。HTAC包括两项基本技术手段：一是燃烧产物显热最大限度回收（或称极限回收）；二是燃料在低氧气氛下燃烧。燃料在高温下和低氧空气燃烧，燃烧和体系内的热工条件与传统的（空气为常温或低于600°C以下，含氧不小于21%)燃烧过程有明显区别。这项技术将对世界各国以燃烧为基础的能源转换技术带来变革性的发展。
