饱和水汽压(E)是水汽达到饱和时的水汽压强。饱和水汽压大小与温度有直接关系。随着温度的升高,饱和水汽压显著增大。空气温度的变化,对蒸发和凝结有重要影响。高温时,饱和水汽压大,空气中所能容纳的水汽含量增多,因而能使原来已处于饱和状态的蒸发面会因为温度升高而变得不饱和,蒸发重新出现;相反,如果降低饱和空气的温度,由于饱和水汽压减小,就会有多余的水汽凝结出来。
