静息能量消耗是指机体禁食2h以上,在合适温度下平卧休息30min后的能量消耗,主要用于维持机体细胞、器官的正常功能和人体的觉醒状态。在正常人,热量和氮需求可根据年龄、性别、身高和体重计算。理想地说,热量需求应根据每个病人进行计算,通过计算和测定的静息能量消耗,并用身体活动系数和应激程度加以调整。对个体病人来说,间接测热法是REE较准确的测量方法。热量需求也可用Harris-Benedict公式方便地计算。
