隔坡梯田是沿原自然坡面隔一定距离修筑一水平梯田，在梯田与梯田间保留一定宽度的原山坡植被，使原坡面的径流进入水平田面中，增加土壤水分以促进作物生长。隔坡梯田模式适用于年降水量300～400mm、坡度15以上的坡地，在黄土高原具有广泛的适用性。
