遥感信息处理(remote-sensing information processing)对遥感器获得的信息进行加工处理的技术。遥感信息通常以图像的形式出现，故这种处理也称遥感图像信息处理。遥感图像信息处理的主要目的是：①消除各种辐射畸变和几何畸变，使经过处理后的图像能更真实地表现原景物真实面貌；②利用增强技术突出景物的某些光谱和空间特征，使之易于与其它地物的区分和判释；③进一步理解、分析和判别经过处理后的图像，提取所需要的专题信息。遥感信息处理分为模拟处理和数字处理两类（见数据采集和处理）。
