记名支票是支票的一种类型。常用于国际结算。支票上记载收款人姓名，取款时应有收款人的签章或亲笔签名，否则将遭到拒付。记名支票可以提取现金，也可以作为委托银行将票面金额转入收款人帐户的凭证。中国现行有关条例规定，使用支票取款或结算均采用记名方式。其优点是支票遗失后可以防止冒领，以保证企事业单位的资金安全。
