A kind of chromium gel system of retarded crosslinking made of partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide(HPAM), sodium bichromate and organic reductant sulfocarbamide was investigated. Because of the weak reduction ability of sulfocarbamide,the gelation time of the system is longer.
