物价变动（price changes） 是指商品或劳务的价格不同于它们以前在同一市场上的价格。物价是商品或劳务在市场上的交换价格，有输入价格和输出价格两种。输入价格是为生产或销售目的而取得商品或劳务的价格。输出价格是作为产品销售的商品或劳务的价格。企业按某一输入价格购买一项商品，再按较高的输出价格售给客户，这种情况不能视为该项商品的价格发生了变动，只有同是输入价格或输出价格增高或降低，才算物价发生了变动。
