漫射照明 （diffused lighting） 是指入射光线并非主要来自单一特别方向之照明方式。漫射照明 是利用光线投射到粗糙面上，由于粗糙而上各点的法线方向不同、所以形成反射光趋于各向同性的照明现象，其效果是反射光柔和，几乎没有阴影，适于平面作业，如绘图、阅读等。为进一步提高漫射照明的效果，可使它与定向照明适当结合。
