游离余氯（Free Chlorine Residual），氯族消毒剂，与水接触一定时间后除了与水中细菌、微生物、有机物等作用后消耗掉一部分外，还余留在水中的次氯酸（HOCl）、次氯酸根离子（OCl）或溶解的单质氯（Cl2）。用来保证持续的杀菌能力，也可用来防备供水管网受到外来污染。
