蕈类又称蘑菇,属于真菌植物。毒蕈是指食后可引起中毒的蕈类,目前在我国已知者有100种左右,其中毒性很强者有10余种,如:褐鳞环柄菇、肉褐麟环柄菇、白毒伞(白帽菌)、毒伞(绿帽菌)、鳞柄白毒伞(毒鹅膏)、秋生盔孢伞(焦脚菌)、包脚黑褶伞、毒粉褶菌(土生红褶菇)、残托斑毒伞、鹿花菌、马鞍蕈等。
