替代商品（Substitutes）：两种商品因为功能相似而可以互相代替满足消费者的同一种欲望或需求，即市场对于一种商品P与另一种商品的Q需求呈同反方向变动。在消费者的爱好、货币收入和其他商品价格保持不变的情况下，如果商品甲的价格下降造成了对商品乙需求的下降，那么商品甲和商品乙是互相竞争的商品或相互替代的商品。例如A产品需求量的上升会导致B产品需求量下降，反之亦然，则认为A产品与B产品互为替代品。替代商品和互补商品都属于相关商品。
