实际气体状态方程（actual gas equation of state）是指一定量实际气体达到平衡态时其状态参量之间函数关系的数学表示。理想气体完全忽略气体分子间的相互作用，不能解释分子力起重要作用的气液相变和 节流等现象。理想气体状态方程只对高温低密度的气体才近似成立，对物质状态的大部分区域都不适用。
