学法指导是学习方法指导的简称，它是指教育者在一定的条件下，通过一定的途径，采取一定的方式对学习者进行学习方法的传授、渗透、指导、训练，使学习者掌握科学的学习方法并能动地运用于自已的学习实践，进而形成自主学习能力的教育行为。它包含两个方面的含义：一是在具体的学习情境中引导学生掌握不同的学习方法；二是引导学生认识具体学习方法的适用范围，使学生能够针对具体的学习内容选择并运用恰当的学习方法。
