外约旦（英语：Transjordan）是指今日约旦河东岸的约旦地区的合称。 外约旦原来单指“约旦河东岸”，但是还有“约旦河以外之地区”的意思。在第一次世界大战之后，奥斯曼帝国的疆土被列强瓜分，而外约旦成为了英国的托管地。到第二次世界大战之后，以色列立国，外约旦改名为约旦。
