地膜覆盖，是指以农用塑料薄膜覆盖地表的一种措施。具有减轻雨滴打击、防止冲刷与结皮形成的作用；可有效减少土壤水分的蒸发，天旱保墒、雨后提墒，促进作物对水分的吸收和生长发育，提高土壤水分的利用效率；能使土壤保持适宜的温度、湿度，使地温下降慢、持续时间长，利于肥料的腐熟和分解，提高土地肥力。地膜树盖成本低、使用方便、增产幅度大，是一项既能防止水土流失，又能提髙作物产量的常用措施。
