喉结核是耳鼻咽喉结核中之最常见者，由结核杆菌感染喉部所致。原发性喉结核少见，多继发于肺结核。根据病理可分为浸润型、溃疡型、结核瘤型和软骨膜型。喉结核病变好发部位依次是：杓间区、勺状软骨、声带、会厌、声门下区，喉结核软骨膜炎常见于会厌及勺状软骨。本病多见于20～30岁的青年男性，但随着老年肺结核发病率的增加，喉结核的发病率倾向于中老年。喉结核的传播途径主要是接触感染为主，其次是血行播散或淋巴转移等途径。
