副卫细胞 又叫护卫细胞,常见于禾本科植物叶表皮细胞。气孔由两个哑铃形的保卫细胞组成，在每个保卫细胞的外侧还有一个近似长梭形的副卫细胞。当保卫细胞加厚后替补其中空缺部分。
副卫细胞5—7个，围成一个圆环， 表面光滑或有毛。
