信号系统（signal system）是一种高级神经活动学说术语。人的大脑皮层中对信号发生反应的机能系统。有第一信号系统和第二信号系统两种。直接作用于各种感觉器官的具体的条件刺激，如声、光、味等称第一信号，也称现实信号。对第一信号发生反应的大脑皮质机能系统是人和动物所共有的。
