人造砂岩又叫仿砂岩或复合砂岩。它是将天然砂岩粉碎成细砂石粉，再添加多种胶凝材料复合而制造出丰富多感、细腻而质感效果鲜明的艺术砂岩制品，所以又称之为艺术砂岩。
