中国水仙，水仙属石蒜科水仙属植物，原产中国，在中国已有一千多年栽培历史，为中国传统名花之一。水仙，又称天葱、雅蒜、水仙花等。因多为水养，且叶姿秀美，花香浓郁，亭亭玉立水中，故有凌波仙子的雅号。水仙主要颁布于我国东南沿海温暖、湿润地区，以福建漳州、厦门及上海崇明岛最为有名。水仙为多年生草本植物，鳞茎肥大，呈球状，外披棕褐色皮膜，茎基部生有白色肉质根。水仙的叶由鳞茎顶端绿白色筒状鞘中抽出花茎（俗称箭）再由叶片中抽出。一般每个鳞茎可抽花茎1～2枝，多者可达8～11枝，伞状花序。
