氧化铬（chromic oxide），化学式Cr2O3。为浅绿至深绿色细小六方结晶。灼热时变棕色，冷后仍变为绿色。结晶体极硬。极稳定，即使在红热下通入氢气亦无变化。溶于加热的溴酸钾溶液，微溶于酸类和碱类，几乎不溶于水、乙醇和丙酮。还有刺激性。
最近有报道戊二醛结合三氧化二铬处理的一些生物材料如牛心包片及猪主动脉瓣等，有很好的防钙化性能。
