For the last five years Carolyn has been the driving force behind the Denver Community EmergencyResponse Training (Denver CERT) and the Emergency Preparedness Programs which includes a special focus on diverse populations and organizations.
The force said its objectives for 2012-13 included delivering an effective emergencyresponse, targeting organised crime groups and drug markets, working with partners and the public to catch offenders, reduce re-offending and road accident fatalities, and plan and prepare to respond to any major and serious incidents.
In UNESCO Islamabad, a small in house task force has been constituted which is actively involved in providing technical assistance for emergencyresponse in different parts of Pakistan.
