The FIDH is a multinational human rights body made up of 164 groups across the world, with delegations at the UnitedNationsin Geneva, the European Union in Brussels and the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
At the recent UnitedNations climate summit in Nairobi, a number of delegations, including those of Britain, Australia and the US, pointed out that they had managed to grow their economies without significant increases in carbon emissions.
Delegations from around the world have been meeting in Durban, South Africa, under the auspices of the UnitedNations for something called the World Conference Against Racism.
